Job summary

Crest Industries is seeking a Receiving Technician at our Port of Alexandria Facility to handle shipping, receiving, and warehousing of stock and project inventory.

In this role you will work with the Project Support Services team under the Logistics Manager, support safety, and help prepare materials for outbound shipments. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic math, and familiarity with measuring devices and hand tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Read and understand measuring devices such as tape measures and rulers.
• Perform simple shop math (fractions, decimals, and whole numbers).
• Experience using basic hand tools (wrenches, hammer, screwdriver).
• Basic computer skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks and receive materials.
• Inspect materials and packaging; maintain stock records.
• Operate the forklift safely and as directed.
• Communicate with Logistics and Project Coordinators about issues.
• Maintain organization of the Project Service Center and equipment.
• Attend safety meetings as required.
