Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution Equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem solver with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of general industry OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Spend approximately 80% of the workday on production activities.
• Communicate with the Supervisor and other Leads to manage and prioritize job assignments to meet customer demand and the production schedule.
• Assist in training employees on safety practices and department-specific procedures.
• Ensure adherence to standardized work, instructions, and procedures, and communicate updates promptly.
• Monitor quality output and address any non-conformances with the Production Supervisor.
• Ensure departmental compliance with all safety standards and immediately report any issues or concerns.
• Monitor and report daily defects, scrap, and lost time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Enforce the use of required Personal Protective Equipment and OSHA compliance.
• Identify and support process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and communication with hourly teams and management.
• Lead by example in promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
