Job summary

Mikron Automation is seeking a Warehouse & Receiving Lead to coordinate warehouse operations, inventory control, and visible KPI reporting. You will act as SAP Key User, drive process improvements, and lead a team to safely handle inbound/outbound shipments.

The role requires forklift certification, SAP knowledge, and 3–5 years in warehousing. This Denver-based position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, including inventory transactions, receiving processes, and inventory management functions.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack.
  • Certified to operate a forklift truck.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
  • Working knowledge in MS Word, Excel, or similar software.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a willingness to learn, adapt, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance customer service, responsiveness, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, receiving, inventory control, material management, or supply chain-related roles.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate warehouse and receiving activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Load and unload equipment off trucks.
  • Inspect, accept, and reject inbound shipments.
  • Coordinate project pack-out activities for domestic and international shipments with project teams.
  • Coordinate Cycle Counts per schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Supervise the daily activities of the Warehouse and Receiving team.
  • Troubleshoot SAP and Mobisys issues as a SAP Key User.
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately in SAP.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and inaccuracies.
  • Maintain storage location accuracy and material identification.
  • Support physical inventory activities and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate material staging and replenishment for production and service needs.
  • Develop training documentation and cross-training plans for warehouse staff.
  • Inventory inquiry support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Warehouse & Receiving Lead is responsible for the coordination and execution of warehouse, receiving, inventory control, and material handling activities. This role ensures the accurate receipt, storage, transaction, and distribution of materials while maintaining inventory integrity and an organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse & Receiving Lead serves as the department’s SAP Key User and first point of contact for warehouse technology, systems, and process-related issues. Working closely with internal departments and the Shipping Lead, this position supports operational objectives through safe, accurate, and efficient material management.

  • Develop, monitor, and report Warehouse & Receiving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure departmental objectives, inventory accuracy, and operational requirements are achieved.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Load and unload equipment off trucks.
  • Inspect, accept, and reject inbound shipments.
  • Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for product returns/repairs.
  • With Shipping Lead, coordinate project pack out activities for both domestic and international shipments with project teams.
  • Coordinate Cycle Counts per schedule and process.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Supervise the daily activities of the Warehouse and Receiving team.
  • Carry out Key User activities and troubleshooting for SAP and mobisys improvements and issues
  • Ensure warehouse is kept clean and organized
  • Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately and timely in SAP.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and inventory accuracy issues.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, material identification, and storage location accuracy.
  • Support physical inventory activities and inventory reconciliation efforts.
  • Coordinate material staging and replenishment activities to support production, project, and service requirements.
  • Develop and maintain training documentation and cross-training plans for warehouse and receiving personnel.
  • Inventory inquiry support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

  • $27 - $30 per hour
