Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Clerk in a distribution center environment.

The role focuses on logging of all incoming purchase orders, auditing receiving paperwork, and assisting inventory to ensure stores are stocked for customers. The position requires lifting up to 70 lbs, availability for various shifts, and attention to detail with proficiency in Microsoft Office and distribution systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Demonstrated track record of good attendance
• Basic math and reading comprehension
• Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• If internal, no written warnings within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months

Responsibilities

• Log in-coming purchase orders and audit receiving paperwork for accuracy
• Assist inventory to ensure stores are stocked for customers
• Call vendors for packing lists and freight bills as needed
• Maintain a comprehensive filing system for receiving packets
• Operate distribution computer systems to control merchandise flow
• Use motorized and non-motorized equipment to unload trailers and move merchandise
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/coach
