Job summary

Lowe's Hartford distribution center is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support operations by logging all in-coming purchase orders and auditing receiving paperwork for accuracy. You will assist inventory to keep stores stocked and monitor incoming/outgoing merchandise for defects.

You will call vendors for packing lists and freight bills, maintain a comprehensive filing system, and operate distribution systems to control merchandise flow. Lifting up to 70 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Good attendance history.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• If internal, no written warnings in the last 6 months or final warnings in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Log in-coming purchase orders and audit completed receiving paperwork.
• Assist inventory to ensure stores are stocked for customers and inspect for defects.
• Call vendors for packing lists and freight bills and maintain filing of packets.
• Operate distribution computer systems and use equipment to unload, stock and load merchandise.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Coach.
