Job summary

Lowe's Receiving Clerk role focuses on logging and auditing in-coming purchase orders, maintaining receiving records, and assisting inventory to ensure stores stay stocked for customers. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Demonstrated track record of good attendance
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills
• Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• If internal, no written warnings within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months

Responsibilities

• Log in-coming purchase orders and audit receiving paperwork for accuracy
• Assist inventory to ensure stores are stocked for customers
• Call vendors for packing lists and freight bills as needed
• Maintain a comprehensive filing system for receiving packets
• Operate distribution computer systems to control merchandise flow
• Use power and non-power equipment to unload, transport, stock and load merchandise
• Perform other duties as assigned by Coach
