Job summary

American Foods Group, LLC is seeking a Receiving Clerk to ensure smooth material flow by unloading shipments, verifying received items, and maintaining organized inventory. You will support production with timely material availability in a fast-paced facility.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and teamwork; prior receiving or warehouse experience is a plus, with PPE and safe operating procedures required daily.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• Basic computer skills with common software (Microsoft).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must pass safety requirements and wear PPE as required.
• Previous receiving/warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipments and inspect for accuracy and damage.
• Record receipts in the inventory system and verify paperwork.
• Label, sort, and store materials in valid warehouse locations.
• Communicate discrepancies to Purchasing/Receiving teams.
• Support cycle counts and collaborate with production for on-time material delivery.
