NorthEast Electrical, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Full Time Warehouse Associate for our Providence, RI location. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with a pay rate of $22.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate PIT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move material safely using forklift, pallet jack, or handcart.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items received or shipped.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, and route material for delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork and input data according to established procedures.
• Maintain inventory with cycle counts and stock checks.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of NorthEast policies and procedures, general product knowledge, participate in training, and attend meetings as requested.
• Act in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and coworkers.
• Must acquire a working knowledge of the Eclipse software support system.

What a typical day looks like in this role:
