Job summary

NorthEast Electrical in Providence, RI is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Associate to join our team. The role involves loading/unloading trucks, moving materials with forklift and pallet jack, and ensuring accurate receiving/shipping records. You will also complete paperwork and help maintain inventory.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move material safely using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input per procedures.
• Maintain inventory via cycle counts and stock checks.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.

Hours:Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Rate of Pay:$22.00 to $24.00 per hour commensurate with experience

What a typical day looks like in this role:

• Loading and unloading trucks, moving material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts and stock checks
• Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of NorthEast policies and procedures, general product knowledge, participate in training, and attend meetings as requested.
• Act in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and coworkers.
• Must acquire a working knowledge of the Eclipse software support system.
