Job summary

NorthEast Electrical in Providence, RI is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. You will load and unload trucks, efficiently move material using forklift, pallet jack, or handcart, and accurately count and document items during receiving and shipping processes.

The role includes packing, labeling, palletizing, and routing material for delivery or storage, plus completing paperwork and data entry according to established procedures.

• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs using manual and PIT equipment.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Rate of Pay: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour commensurate with experience

What a Typical Day Looks Like In This Role

• Loading and unloading trucks, moving material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts and stock checks
• Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of NorthEast policies and procedures, general product knowledge, participate in training, and attend meetings as requested.
• Act in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and coworkers.
• Must acquire a working knowledge of the Eclipse software support system.
