Job summary

Euro USA Inc. is hiring a Receiver/Replenisher in Cleveland, OH to ensure accurate receiving and maintain inventory integrity.

You will unload trucks, inspect goods, count against packing lists, and place items into correct stock locations while rotating stock and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Identify product by size, type or code
• Must have forklift/power-truck certification
• Solid reading skills to match orders on tickets
• Basic math and reasoning skills
• Ability to operate inventory control equipment (bar-code scanners)
• Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Receiver/Replenisher is responsible for accurate physical receiving of products, maintaining the integrity of inventory control.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect all incoming trucks in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Print required reports, license plates/receiving labels
• Unload truck and inspect the condition of goods received; count and compare to vendor pack list; accept or reject shipment
• Move product to appropriate stock bin, cooler, freezer, dry
• Check expiration dates and rotate inventory, as required
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and managers.
• Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations
• Wears personal protective Equipment as necessary for the job
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain clean shipping supply area; comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

Working Conditions

• Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to withstand cool/cold temperatures in a typical food warehouse environment
• Position spends 6 - 8 hours standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
• Ability to identify product by size, type, or product code
• Forklift experience
• Solid reading skills - must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked
• Possess basic math and reasoning skills
• Must possess certification of power-truck equipment
• Ability to understand and execute instructionsPossess general understanding of the warehouse and footprint
• Ability to operate inventory control equipment (i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices)
• Basic computer knowledge
