Job summary

Peddler's Son in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to unload incoming freight, verify counts, stage products, and maintain accurate inventory while following receiving standards.

You will contribute to a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment and participate in continuous improvement of receiving procedures, including forklift operation and role certification training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1-3 months related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills required.
• Ability to learn constantly to meet changing job requirements.
• Warehouse receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Willingness to learn and pass training for role certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to ensure materials availability.
• Report theft or unsafe acts to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse area in a clean, organized, and orderly fashion.

• Unload and receive product safely in accordance with PSP policies and procedures.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay $16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Medical, vision, and dental insurance available after 60 days.
