Job summary

SanMar, a major distributor, seeks a Receiver/Loader to unload and load trailers following SOPs. You'll handle pallets, possibly with a Power Jack, and contribute to safe, efficient warehouse operations.

You'll be part of a fast-paced team in Shakopee, MN, with benefits including health coverage, 401(k) matching, life and disability insurance, and paid time off. High school diploma preferred and strong attention to detail required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adapt priorities as needed.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product by following standard operating procedures.
• May use electric Power Jack to move pallets and/or product.
• Maintain a positive, supportive attitude towards the company, customers and co-workers.
• Meet minimum standards and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain safe, neat and clean work area by following safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
