Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Receiver/Loader to unload and load trailers following SOPs, including sorting, palletizing and moving product. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Typical shift is 6:00AM-2:30PM with a salary range of $17.50-$24.00 per hour, and offering comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and 401(k) plus paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity required.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require.
• Ability to work efficiently, with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in high-demand, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Able to work both independently and within a team.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comprehends verbal and written instructions.
• Essential days or overtime may be required.
• May need to complete and maintain SanMar's Lift Operator Certification every three years.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product by following standard operating procedures.
• May use electric Power Jack to move pallets and/or product as needed.
• Ability to work with and keep a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers and co-workers.
• Meet minimum standards and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain safe, neat and clean work area by adhering to SanMar safety regulations.
