Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Receiver in Sioux Falls, SD, to coordinate shipping and warehouse activities and ensure on-time delivery of customer orders. The position runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficient material handling.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required; prior forklift experience is preferred.
• Able to move pallets, load trucks and move items safely throughout the plant.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanners.
• Follow instructions, label cartons, and prioritize daily shipments.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Stock and handle raw materials, components, and finished goods in the warehouse.
• Gather, review, and sort daily orders by ship date.
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure timely shipment of customer orders.
• Match products and customer orders to ensure correct quantities and labeling.
• Prepare UPS/FedEx shipments according to customer requirements.
