Job summary

RVI in Watertown, SD, seeks a Shipping & Receiving Associate to package, label and ship products, verify orders, and coordinate with carriers. You will also receive materials, update inventory, and maintain accurate records to support production schedules.

The role includes maintenance of organized warehouse spaces, participation in cycle counts, and collaboration with purchasing, quality and customer service teams to ensure efficient material flow.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read part numbers, work orders, and BOMs clearly.
• Accurate math and counting skills for inventory tasks.
• Proficient with basic computer software used for inventory and shipping.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Forklift license required and to be obtained on site at RVI.

Responsibilities

• Package, label, and ship finished products including batteries and cable components.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and orders for shipping accuracy.
• Process packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels.
• Coordinate shipments with freight carriers and internal departments.
• Receive and unload incoming materials; inspect for damage and accuracy.
• Enter receipts into inventory system and maintain traceability.
• Maintain organized inventory and support production material movement.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
