Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel, part of the Contract Logistics team, seeks a Quality Control Specialist to verify product and process quality throughout fulfillment and prior to shipment, ensuring compliance with internal service level agreements, regulatory requirements, and global quality standards while conducting inspections, managing non-conformances, supporting corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and order entry systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in warehouse operations, quality inspection, or auditing, ideally in logistics or contract environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-shipment inspections and quality audits on outgoing goods
  • Identify and document non-conformances, initiate reports, and follow up on CAPA actions
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain inspection records and quality documentation
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and training efforts
  • Uphold global quality standards, such as ISO, GxP, IATA CEIV

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to verify product and process quality throughout fulfillment and prior to shipment, ensuring compliance with internal service level agreements, regulatory requirements, and global quality standards while conducting inspections, managing non-conformances, supporting corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The hourly wage range for this position is between $20.60. Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
