Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Quality Leader to join our Contract Logistics team in the United States. You will design, manage, and optimize quality processes, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency across warehousing operations.

You'll lead teams, analyze reports, and collaborate with multiple departments to resolve issues, drive continuous improvement, and uphold ISO9001/AS9100 standards while delivering exceptional service to customers and communities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years in a full-time quality role.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role in a warehousing environment.
  • Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with WMS and QMS systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 standards.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all quality reports and analyze trends.
  • Make recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide associates with in-the-moment training when opportunities for improvement present themselves.
  • Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included.
  • Examine records such as manifests, invoices, BOLs (Bills of Lading); resolve process inefficiencies.
  • Investigate issues concerning overdue, damaged, or shortages in shipments; provide updates to customers promptly.
  • Participate in quality meetings and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain Quality Management System.
  • Maintain calibration records, reports, and equipment documentation.
  • Monitor and advise on product quality matters.

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you’re leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. You will lead and develop people, processes, and systems that ensure the highest safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. You will work on comprehensive reports, provide timely responses, and be the point of contact between the various departments within the company and customers. Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

What we would like you to bring
