Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the Staples World Class Supply Chain team. You may rotate across multiple warehousing roles including Bulk Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping.

You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other equipment to move product, with safety as the top priority. 18+ and ability to lift 70–100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen as legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Overtime may be required for full-time associates.
• Ability to lift/move boxes weighing 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Able to walk and stand most of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move products up to 100 lbs.
• Perform warehouse bulk/material handling tasks and equipment operation.
• Assist with receiving/putaway/returns and validate product accuracy.
• Unload trucks and palletize products; communicate to resolve issues.
• Process returns and inspect items, matching quantities and packing slips.
• Ship orders; stack and shrink-wrap pallets; load trucks safely.
• May be rotated into multiple SC2/SC1 roles as needed.
