Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in California to join our world-class supply chain team. You may work across six areas including Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway, Returns, and Shipping with cross-training as needed.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, moving products up to 100 lbs, while following safety procedures in a fast-paced distribution environment and upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months of warehouse experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Able to work overtime and lift 70–100 pounds safely.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to pick/move products up to 100 lbs.
• Perform bulk/material handling tasks across six warehouse areas as needed.
• Assist with receiving, putaway, returns, and shipping activities.
• Maintain safety procedures and clean, organized workspaces.
• Communicate effectively with team to resolve discrepancies.
• Adapt to role assignments (SC2 or SC1) per business needs.
