Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our supply chain team in California. The role covers six areas, including bulk handling, porter tasks, replenishment, receiving, returns, and shipping. You may move between roles as needed while upholding safety standards.

The position runs on a 9:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday schedule, with a competitive pay rate of $22.50 per hour. Staples offers part-time benefits and opportunities for growth within the warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Three months of related warehouse experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to lift 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Able to stand and walk 100% of shifts.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks) to pick and move product up to 100 lbs.
• Perform warehouse duties in one of six areas: Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping.
• Maintain safety procedures and adhere to Staples safety culture.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to resolve issues.
• Assist with loading/unloading and ensure accurate packing and palletizing.
• Support overtime and adapt to seasonal workload changes.
