Job summary

Aramark Nexus is seeking a Warehouse and Purchasing Manager to lead purchasing, receiving, warehouse, and inventory for a large-scale workforce community near Hereford, Texas. This full-time role collaborates with culinary, facilities, and finance leaders to ensure materials availability and cost controls.

The candidate will manage vendors, purchase orders, receiving standards, and inventory accuracy while balancing quality and urgency in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in purchasing, procurement, warehouse operations, receiving, or inventory management.
• Previous experience as a Purchasing/Procurement/Warehouse/Inventory Manager or similar role is preferred.
• Experience with food service, hospitality, facilities, or related operations is valued.
• Proficiency with purchasing, inventory, ERP, warehouse management systems, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing, receiving, warehouse, inventory, and materials management for site operations.
• Maintain inventory levels for food, beverages, maintenance, MRO parts, tools, and supplies.
• Forecast needs with cross-functional leaders to establish par levels and support operations.
• Manage purchase orders, vendors, pricing, and system accuracy.
• Oversee receiving, verify deliveries, and ensure PO accuracy before acceptance.
• Maintain organized storage areas for dry, refrigerated, frozen, and equipment inventories.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile variances in systems.
• Address shortages, substitutions, delivery issues, and price discrepancies with vendors.
• Monitor budgets, cost variances, and invoice reconciliation.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, FIFO, HACCP compliance in receiving and storage.
• Supervise receiving/warehouse staff and set safety, accuracy, organization, and productivity expectations.
• Use data to improve availability, reduce waste, and prevent stockouts.
