Job summary

Aramark Nexus in Hereford, Texas, is seeking a Warehouse and Purchasing Manager to lead purchasing, receiving, warehouse, and inventory operations for a large-scale workforce community near Hereford and Amarillo.

You will work with culinary, facilities, maintenance, housekeeping, operations, and finance to ensure materials availability, manage vendors, control costs, and maintain accurate records in a fast-moving, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

Experience in purchasing, procurement, warehouse operations, receiving, inventory management, or related functions.
Experience coordinating across facilities, maintenance, food service, and operations.
Proficiency with ERP and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

Lead purchasing, receiving, warehouse, inventory, and materials management across site operations.
Purchase and maintain inventory levels for food, maintenance, MRO parts, and facilities supplies.
Forecast needs with cross-functional teams and establish par levels.
Manage purchase orders, vendors, pricing, and system accuracy.
Oversee receiving and verify quantity, quality, price, and PO accuracy.
Maintain organized storage areas including dry, refrigerated, and frozen goods.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile variances.
Address shortages, substitutions, and delivery issues with vendors.
Monitor budgets and document purchasing and receiving activities.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, FIFO, and HACCP standards.
Supervise receiving and warehouse staff, setting safety and productivity expectations.
Use data to reduce waste, control costs, and prevent stockouts.
