Job summary

Aramark Nexus in Hereford, Texas, is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage Operations to lead the dining halls, restaurants, retail and culinary teams for a large workforce community. You will develop leaders, set standards across multiple concepts, manage high-volume production, and drive guest experience, safety, and P&L performance in a 24/7 operation.

This is a ground-up build with on-site housing/meals planned as the project progresses, offering a unique opportunity to shape a resident

Qualifications

• Significant progressive leadership experience in food & beverage operations or multi‑unit dining services.
• Experience leading multiple concepts/departments simultaneously.
• Strong base in front-of-house and back-of-house operations and people development.
• Solid understanding of food cost, labor, inventory, budgeting, and P&L.
• Ability to collaborate across culinary, operations, purchasing and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for all food & beverage operations across dining hall, restaurant, retail, commissary and culinary functions.
• Lead and develop department heads and culinary leaders including managers and executive chefs.
• Establish and enforce standards for food quality, service, sanitation, guest experience and operational execution.
• Oversee high-volume meal production while maintaining concept identity and service standards.
• Own food & beverage financial performance including cost control, labor, inventory and budgets.
• Partner with culinary leadership on menu development, production planning and recipe standards.
• Develop staffing strategies, scheduling, training and succession plans for a large organization.
• Monitor guest feedback, service metrics and financial results to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Facilities, Safety, HR and other leaders to support coordinated operations.
• Lead openings, new concepts, operational changes, events and volume fluctuations.
• Build a high-performing culture focused on hospitality, culinary excellence and safety.
