Job summary

The Salvation Army - Jurupa Valley is seeking a Warehouse Operations lead for the on-site Distribution Center. You will oversee daily floor activities, assign stations, and ensure timely loading of outbound orders.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, training new associates, tracking production metrics, and maintaining safety with OSHA and program policies. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• 1+ years of lead or supervisor experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
• Preferred: Forklift certification; box truck experience.
• Preferred: Experience with donated goods or secondhand retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Run daily floor operations and production to the schedule.
• Lead start-of-shift huddles and communicate goals.
• Train new associates on stations, procedures, and safety rules.
• Coach staff on performance and attendance; report concerns to DC Manager.
• Spot-check grading, labeling, and inventory; ensure proper storage.
• Enforce OSHA and Salvation Army safety policies on the floor.
• Track daily production numbers, labor hours, and salvage totals.
