Job summary

Building Products Inc. (BPI) is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our fast-paced warehouse operations in the Upper Midwest. You will pick, stage, and load products, operate a forklift training provided, and help ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

Forklift certification required or obtained through in-house training.
Tech-savvy with ability to learn and operate scanning systems.
Safety-first mindset with adherence to PPE and warehouse protocols.
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions throughout the year.

Responsibilities

Order Picking & Staging – Accurately pick products for deliveries and stage them using scanners.
Forklift Operation – Operate a forklift consistently to load and replenish products (training & certification provided).
Loading & Securing Freight – Properly secure products using banding or plastic wrap to ensure safe transportation.
Inventory Management – Assist with inventory checks, cycle counts, and using scanners for real-time updates.
Equipment & Safety Compliance – Conduct daily forklift inspections and follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements.
Facility Upkeep – Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including replenishing stock and assisting with general warehouse tasks.
Cross-Training – Gain experience in different areas of the warehouse to support team operations.
