Building Products Inc. (BPI) seeks a Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift in Sioux Falls, SD to support warehouse operations and prepare goods for on-time delivery. You will pick and stage orders, operate material-handling equipment, and help maintain inventory accuracy.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with opportunities for cross-training and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must complete in-house forklift training and certification.
• Ability to learn and use warehouse scanning systems for inventory tracking and shipment loading.
• Commitment to PPE, forklift protocols, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accuracy and steady pace in a fast-moving environment.
• Work in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
• Dependable and willing to work Monday–Friday second shift.
• Collaborative and able to support changing warehouse needs.

Responsibilities

• Pick products accurately for next-day deliveries and stage orders using warehouse scanning systems.
• Operate a forklift to load products and replenish warehouse stock.
• Load and secure products using banding, plastic wrap, or other materials to prevent damage.
• Use scanning systems to update inventory and shipment information in real time.
• Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report safety concerns.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE and forklift protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with warehouse upkeep.
• Replenish stock and support other warehouse functions as needed.
• Cross-train in different warehouse areas to support daily operations.
