Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely and efficiently perform a variety of duties within our warehouse operations to support internal and external customers and meet business goals.

Duties include pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, pallet building, forklift operation, quality checks, and maintaining a clean, organized space while adhering to GMP and food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to pass the forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV Material Handling Equipment.
• At least six (6) months of Forklift experience preferred.
• Computer/Human Machine Interface skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Sorting and grouping skills.
• Must be able to read and understand the difference in product labels and load ticket instructions.
• Must be able to count large quantities of products and materials.
• Must be able to read/hear and understand procedures for performing work.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled with exposure to hot/humid or cold weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy and quality of products received from vendors and shipped to customers.
• Operates warehouse equipment and maintains records (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets).
• Identifies machine faults, troubleshoots, and performs basic cleaning and maintenance on automation systems.
• Safely operates warehouse equipment to store, stage, retrieve, replenish, load or unload products.
