Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely and efficiently perform a variety of warehouse duties to support internal and external customers and meet business goals. Responsibilities include pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, stacking, building pallets, wrapping, transporting, counting, quality checks, and general material handling across PBV facilities.

The role requires forklift capability, basic equipment operation, and adherence to GMP and food safety guidelines,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to pass forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV equipment.
• At least six months forklift experience preferred.
• Computer/HMI skills required.
• Mechanical aptitude necessary.
• Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand product labels and load ticket instructions.
• Ability to count large quantities of products and materials.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• Must be able to read/hear and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Verifies accuracy and quality of products received from vendors and shipped to customers; maintains records (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets) per SOP.
• Identifies machine faults, troubleshoots system errors, and performs basic maintenance on automation systems.
• Operates warehouse equipment to store, stage, retrieve, replenish, load or unload products; uses conveyors and loaders as required.
• Performs safety and pre-trip checks on machinery and maintains clean, organized workspaces.
• Adheres to GMP and food safety guidelines; performs janitorial tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
