Job summary

UPS is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee safety, production, and attendance. You will lead workgroups, set high standards for accuracy and customer service, and foster a cooperative, proactive culture across the department.

The role involves training new and current staff, ensuring compliance with all safety policies, and optimizing resources for maximum output. Prior management experience and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes a positive, team-oriented work environment and encourages proactive communication.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
• Provides orientation and training to staff and conducts regular evaluations.
