Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Cross Dock Associate on the 2nd shift (5:00 PM – 2:00 AM) at the Hatfield, MA facility. You will operate an electric riding pallet jack and help unload cross dock trailers, ensuring pallets flow properly from staging to doors and that loads meet quality standards.

This role requires standing, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs, and working in a perishable environment with occasional multi-level work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate electric pallet jack.
• Able to stand and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

As a Cross Dock, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility. In this role, you will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.

Job Description

• Earn $22.00 per hour
• Full Time, 2nd Shift - 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM
• Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• 95 North Hatfield Road, Hatfield , MA

You will contribute by:

• Operating an electric riding pallet jack
• Assisting in unloading cross dock trailers
• Ensuring the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility
• Monitoring pallet construction and ensuring load quality
• Prioritizing work within your assigned zone
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
