Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Cross Dock associate at the Hatfield, MA distribution center to load, unload, and move pallets with an electric pallet jack. You will ensure pallet flow from staging to doors and maintain load quality on shipments.

The position is full-time on 2nd shift (5:00 PM – 2:00 AM), Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, with weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k. Safety is a core priority in this role.

Position Overview

Keep our communities fed.

Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. As a Cross Dock, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility. In this role, you will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.

Job Description

• Earn $22.00 per hour

• Full Time, 2nd Shift - 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM

• Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

• 95 North Hatfield Road, Hatfield , MA

You will contribute by:

• Operating an electric riding pallet jack

• Assisting in unloading cross dock trailers

• Ensuring the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished

• Loading, unloading, and moving materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility

• Monitoring pallet construction and ensuring load quality

• Prioritizing work within your assigned zone

• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
