The Hershey Company is hiring for a Warehouse position in Plymouth, IN. The role involves staging, loading, and unloading product, operating a forklift, and maintaining accurate inventory and safety procedures on a 12-hour shift schedule.

You will execute daily tasks such as forklift operation, material handling, and quality inspections, with adherence to SOPs and safety standards. This role offers opportunities for hands-on training and teamwork within a high-demand production environment.

• Complete daily logs, inspections, and required records.
• Process receiving, inventory transfers, and shipping transactions as needed.

Pay:

• Starting at $21.16/hr
• Overnight shift has $1.00/hrshift differential

Shifts:

• Day and Night shifts available
• 12 hours shift (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am)
• 2-2-3 schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation.Working 3-4 days/week (One week: Sun, Wed, ThursNext week:Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat).

Summary:

This position will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for staging, loading, and unloading finished product and raw materials as well as, stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Stage finished product for loading
• Load finished product onto truck. Operate forklift and attachments safely
• Unload raw materials from truck and move to warehouse storage.
• Move packaging waste to dumpsters and product waste to storage trailer
• Responsible for visual quality inspections of incoming and outgoing materials and finished products.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Operate forklift and attachments safely
• Operate forklift and attachments safely
• Operate the Lantec Wrapper to complete finished pallets
• Complete daily logs including trailer inspections, incoming material inspections, forklift inspection, counts as requested, and readings per schedule.
• Process receiving transactions
• Process inventory transfers including
• Process shipping transactions to customer and to the corporate facility in Bluffton
• General Housekeeping
• Be safe and alert at all time
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
• Create a positive work environment for co-workers & customers
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Minimum Qualifications:

• Forklift Certification
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
• Good overall communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
