Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Material Handler-Picker to pull customer orders from the warehouse and stage or load them at the loading dock.

Responsibilities include using a handheld scanner, operating a forklift/order picker, and ensuring safety and cleanliness on the dock. Six months to one year of related experience preferred; reading English required. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage correct warehouse items for loading dock.
• Use handheld scanner to locate items and move to dock door.
• Move damaged or non-conforming items for reclaim or RTV.
• Operate forklift and order picker as required.
• Maintain safe, clean dock and warehouse aisles.
• Inspect items for quality and accuracy before loading.
• Assist in unloading/loading trucks when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
