Job summary

MSI in Edison, NJ is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Picker to perform picking, packing, checking, restocking, and loading pallets. The role requires operating industrial equipment such as Order Picker, Reach Truck, sit-down/stand-up forklifts, and an electric pallet jack.

Two years of warehouse experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent are expected. Hours are Sunday to Thursday from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with some Friday overtime.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of warehouse experience.
• Industrial warehouse equipment experience preferred.
• Basic computer or tablet literacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, check merch, put-away, and load pallets.
• Operate Order Picker, Reach Truck, forklifts, and electric pallet jack.
• Restock items and conduct inventory.
• Repackage and re-palletize tile products on ground or racks.
• Complete daily equipment checklist before operating lifts.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Summary:

The Picker will be responsible for performing various warehouse duties. This may include picking, checking, packaging, and restocking of merchandise with proper warehouse industrial equipment.

Work Hours:

Sunday to Thursday from 07:00 PM to 05:30 AM, 2 Friday(s) a month from 07:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Compensation:

This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $20.75 to $20.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $59,600 and $75,000 annually, or more, depending on experience, premium pay differential, overtime hours, and bonuses.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for picking, packaging, checking merchandise, put-away, and loading pallets.
• Operate industrial warehouse equipment such as: Order Picker, Reach Truck, Sit-down or Stand-up Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, and other equipment as assigned.
• Restock items and conduct inventory.
• Repackage and re-palletize the tile product on the ground or in the racks.
• Complete daily equipment checklist prior to operating any industrial lifts.
• Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) plus years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Industrial Warehouse Equipment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of using a computer or tablet is a plus.
