Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. at our local client site in Ronkonkoma, NY is seeking a Warehouse Picker. You will earn $19.00 per hour and receive a weekly paycheck.

Responsibilities include accurately picking/packing orders, loading/unloading trucks, operating scanners and ERP systems, and maintaining inventory with FIFO procedures while adhering to SQF, cGMP, SSOP, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related experience; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; basic math skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve picking lists and shipping instructions and accurately pick and pack orders.
• Load/unload trucks and operate forklifts and pallet jacks when trained.
• Record movements in ERP system and maintain inventory with FIFO procedures.
• Comply with SQF, cGMP, SSOP and safety requirements.

Job description

Partnerships between Adecco and our local Customers always give great benefits! While working as a Warehouse Picker for Adecco at our local Customer in Ronkonkoma, NY, you will earn $19.00 per hour and receive a weekly paycheck.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Retrieve picking lists and shipping instructions, accurately pick and pack customer, manufacturing, sample, and FedEx orders, and prepare pallets for shipment.

• Load and unload trucks and use forklifts, Hi-Lo trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment once trained and certified to move materials throughout the warehouse.

• Operate electronic scanners and the computer ERP system to accurately record warehouse movements, receiving, deliveries, and inventory transactions.

• Perform receiving and inventory duties, including verifying quantities, inspecting product and pallet condition, labeling materials, maintaining FIFO procedures, completing documentation, and adhering to SQF, cGMP, SSOP, workplace safety, and LOTO requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and a minimum of 1 year of related experience; food manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., remain on your feet for extended periods, and climb ladders up to 30 feet.

• Ability to operate forklifts, Hi-Lo trucks, and pallet jack equipment once trained and certified, and perform basic math including subtraction, division, and multiplication.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English; must be reliable, safety-conscious, able to work with limited supervision, and flexible to accommodate overtime and day or night shifts when needed.

Pay Details:

$19.00 per hour
