Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Order Selector in California to accurately pick, stage, and prepare orders in a fast-paced, refrigerated warehouse environment.

Role requires stand-up forklift or electric pallet-jack experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working in cold conditions. You will use RF scanners and warehouse systems to locate products, ensuring correct item numbers and expiration dates. Overtime and Sunday-Thursday shifts are mandatory.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Order Selector accurately selects, organizes, and stages customer orders in a fast-paced food-distribution warehouse. The position requires stand-up forklift or electric pallet-jack experience and comfort working in refrigerated areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Operate a stand-up forklift or electric pallet jack.
• Use RF scanners, pick tickets, or warehouse systems to locate products.
• Verify item numbers, product quantities, and expiration dates.
• Build stable pallets and properly wrap completed orders.
• Label, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Move products throughout refrigerated and temperature-controlled warehouse areas.
• Report shortages, damaged products, and inventory discrepancies.
• Meet established productivity and order-accuracy expectations.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous order-selection, warehouse, or food-distribution experience preferred.
• Stand-up forklift or electric pallet-jack experience required.
• Ability to pass a forklift assessment before starting.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated or temperature-controlled environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, twist, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Must be available Sunday through Thursday and for mandatory overtime.
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail required.

Schedule and Overtime Notice

• All shifts are subject to overtime.
• Sunday and Monday: Mandatory 12-hour shifts.
• Tuesday through Saturday: Required overtime as needed.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
