Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support intermediate warehouse and pharmacy tasks, including cleanroom compounding and packaging for delivery.

The role requires a High school diploma, 1 year of related experience, and state-specific Pharmacy Technician certification where applicable. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Meets all state requirements for a Pharmacy Technician, which may be registration, licensure or certification if required by the state.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Current national certification CPhT if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and audits compounding material prior to its entry into the cleanroom.
• Compounds sterile preparations as needed.
• Checks final product for particulate matter and container integrity prior to presenting to pharmacist for final review.
• Labels compounded sterile preparations when state regulations permit.
• Receives and stocks incoming orders.
• Assembles and packages material for delivery.
• Facilitates efficient workflow processes and stocking of inventory.
• Oversees inventory count process through final reporting.
• Performs inventory control on products.
• Rotates stock as necessary.
• Notifies appropriate personnel of stock shortages in a timely manner.
