Job summary

Option Care Health in Sun Valley, CA is seeking a Warehouse Pharmacy Technician II to support intermediate warehouse and clinical duties. The role includes compounding and preparation in the cleanroom, auditing materials, and ensuring accurate packaging and delivery of medications.

The position requires a high school diploma, 1+ year of related experience, and a valid national certification (CPhT) if required by state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Meets all state requirements for a Pharmacy Technician, which may be registration, licensure or certification if required by the state.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Current national certification CPhT if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and audits compounding material prior to its entry into the cleanroom.
• Compounds sterile preparations as needed.
• Checks final product for particulate matter and container integrity prior to presenting to pharmacist for final review.
• Labels compounded sterile preparations when state regulations permit.
• Checks ancillary supplies.
• Picks/packs supplies & medications.
• Receives and stocks incoming orders.
• Assembles and packages material for delivery.
• Facilitates efficient workflow processes and stocking of inventory.
• Oversees inventory count process through final reporting.
• Performs inventory control on products.
• Rotates stock as necessary.
