Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford, IL is hiring a forklift operator to support inbound and outbound materials within a cGMP environment. You will load, unload, and move pallets, record movements in the ERP/WMS, and keep work areas clean and compliant with safety standards.

The role requires basic math, computer skills, and a valid Class C license, with overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and transport pallets safely throughout the plant.
• Record pallet movements electronically.
• Unload deliveries per SOPs and perform inbound tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the work area.
• Overtime and weekend work as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

1. Complete basic training program in the following categories: Employee orientation, cGMP, Safety, and PCI forklift licensing program.
2. Maneuver a forklift (either a standard electric "sit down" fork truck or a double reach "stand up" material handling truck) expediently, skillfully and safely while transporting full or partial pallet loads of material throughout the plant, and into/outof rack fixtures.
3. Accurately record electronically, the movements of pallets of material.
4. Able to perform, as a minimum, the following basic Warehouse functions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; Inspection, Receiving to Stock, Inventory Transfer, material Issuance to Work Order, Return to Stock, WIP (Work In Process) Move, Finished Goods Move.
5. Assess and unload deliveries per applicable SOP's and work practices.
6. Maintains housekeeping standards.
7. Overtime hours and weekends as required.
8. Must have the ability to read and respond to emails as required.
9. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
10. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
