Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Bridgewater, MA, seeks a detail-oriented packaging technician to select products for tests and ensure serialized kit integrity in a clinical environment. You will perform inspections at various production stages and maintain meticulous documentation to support quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Select products for tests and specified stages in production.
  • Perform receiving, in-process, finished goods and distribution inspection as required.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and adherence to cGMP/GCP.
  • May participate on Customer Project/Improvement teams.
  • Record tests data using statistical quality control procedures.
  • Inspect and ship samples to customers.
  • Support accurate storage of retain components and finished goods.

Selects products for tests and specified stages in production. Performs receiving, in-process, finished goods and distribution inspection as required. Ensures work is consistent between work orders to maintain clinical blinding requirements. Works effectively in a clinical packaging environment that utilizes serialized kit numbers, where one packaging lot is made up of multiple individual packaging lots. Manages multiple clinical production lines at the same time, with various types of work order activity. Completes documentation of paperwork to ensure accuracy and correctness. May oversee pest control inspections. Interprets formulas to arrive as specified quality and reliability standards. May participate on Customer Project/Improvement teams. Records tests data, using statistical quality control procedures. Inspects and ships samples to customers. Supports accurate storage of retain components and/or finished goods.

PAPR requirements

This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

  • Detect, distinguish, or determine: 3/4 of the day and up.
  • On an average day, the individual can expect to move and/or transport up to 25 pounds between 1/2 and 3/4 of the day.

  • The following are some environmental conditions that one may be exposed to on a daily basis and for various lengths of time. Work is performed in areas with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear for 3/4 of the day and up. Work near moving mechanical parts for 1/2 to 3/4 of the day. The noise level in the work environment is typically, loud.

Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations. Preferred: Ability to demonstrate attention to detail. Ability to work independently and/or part of a team. Ability to effectively present information to various people as the job requires. Ability to adapt to changing work environments.
