Job summary

Avance Cabinetry is seeking a Packer to play a crucial role in preparing cabinets for shipment. Responsibilities include inspecting cabinets for quality, organizing the packing area, and adhering to safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, attention to detail, and physical stamina to lift materials. Experience in a warehouse or shipping environment and familiarity with Packsize machines is preferred. Full-time hours are Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

• Ability to follow packing instructions accurately.
• Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory.
• Physical stamina to lift and move cabinets and packaging materials up to 49lbs.
• Experience using Packsize machine a plus.

Job Overview

The Packer plays a crucial role in preparing cabinets and related products for shipment to customers or distribution centers. This position involves carefully packing, labeling, and organizing cabinets to ensure safe transportation and delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing and Inspection: Inspect finished cabinets for quality and completeness before packing. Collaborate with quality control personnel to address any issues with cabinet quality or packaging. Operate and manage the Packsize machine to create custom-sized packaging for cabinets according to specifications. Conduct regular checks on packaged cabinets to ensure they meet quality standards and are correctly labeled for shipping.
• Organization and Inventory: Maintain an organized packing area and ensure sufficient supplies are available for packaging cabinets.
• Quality Control: Conduct final quality checks on packed cabinets to ensure they meet company standards before shipping. Collaborate with the packing lead and quality control personnel to address any issues with cabinet quality or packaging for further inspection or corrective action.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling cabinets and packing materials. Follow proper lifting techniques to prevent injury and ensure personal safety.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7 am- 3:30 pm Full Time

Education and Certifications
