Job summary

Stitch Golf in Apex, NC is seeking a dependable Packer to prepare customer orders for shipment. You will use handheld scanners and our warehouse system to verify contents, pack securely, and generate shipping labels.

You will stage shipments by shipping method, assist with loading pallets, keep packing areas clean, and support general warehouse duties while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process orders using scanners and WMS, verify contents, and update order info.
• Verify products and quantities against orders and address discrepancies before shipment.
• Pack and seal orders with appropriate packaging to prevent damage.
• Generate and apply shipping labels to packages.
• Stage finished shipments by shipping method and organize pallets or carts.
• Assist with loading pallets and shipments onto trucks.
• Maintain clean, stocked packing and staging areas.
• Support inventory movement and general warehouse tasks as needed.

• Complete special projects as assigned by management.

Job Overview:

The Packer is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing completed customer orders for shipment. Orders ready for packing will be processed using the company's warehouse management and shipping systems. The Packer will scan and verify orders and their contents for accuracy, select the appropriate packaging, securely pack and seal orders, generate and apply shipping labels, and properly stage completed shipments according to their designated shipping method. This position will also assist with loading outbound shipments and other general warehouse duties as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Accurately process completed orders using handheld scanners and the company's warehouse management and shipping systems, including scanning orders, verifying contents, and updating required order information
• Verify products and quantities against orders and identify and communicate any discrepancies before shipment
• Select appropriate packaging materials and properly pack, seal, and secure orders to prevent damage during shipment
• Generate, verify, and apply shipping labels to completed packages
• Organize and stage completed orders according to their designated shipping method, including pallets, carts, and other designated areas
• Assist with building, wrapping, moving, and loading pallets and completed shipments onto shipping trucks
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked packing and staging areas
• Assist with inventory movement, warehouse organization, and other general warehouse activities as needed
• Follow all established safety procedures and safe work practices while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management
