Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking team members for a warehouse role involving order selection and packing. Training starts at $14/hr, with pay rising to $17–$20/hr after training, and order selectors averaging $20–$42/hr.

Typical shifts are Sunday–Thursday with start times between 2pm and 5pm. The job emphasizes safe handling, multi-temperature work environments, and opportunities to advance within a growing food distribution network.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including overtime.
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs depending on location.
• Work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Must become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.
• Must complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area.
• Review schedule, assemble supplies, and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Move pallets on pallet jack along racks to locate products per order sheets.
• Load items onto pallets from pick slots and racks as directed.
• Transport finished orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap if needed.
• Replace batteries and secure equipment at shift end; complete paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
