Job summary

Vistar in Riverside, MO is seeking a warehouse associate to select cases and other containers of food and non-food products, fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage, and prepare pallets for shipment using an electric pallet jack or forklift.

You will follow safety policies, meet productivity and accuracy standards, and may work overtime during busy periods. Pay ranges from $22–$34 per hour with a quality bonus and cooler/freezer differential where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Ability to work overtime and scheduled shifts.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures. Maintain a safe work area and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and wear required PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Move pallets on pallet jack and navigate multi-level racks to locate products.
• Place stock on pallets from pick slots and racks as required.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock and may shrink-wrap pallets.
• Complete shift paperwork and secure equipment at shift end.
