Job summary

Envista in Michigan is seeking a Warehouse Efficiency Specialist to optimize warehouse operations through WMS rules, layout design, slotting and picking methodologies. You will lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, analyze KPIs, and partner with IT and operations to deploy improvements across receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing and shipping.

Candidates should have 3–7+ years in warehousing and a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with strong Excel, WMS, and Oracle experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field.
3–7+ years of experience in warehouse operations or supply chain optimization.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS); Oracle experience preferred.
Proven track record of implementing warehouse process improvements and increasing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Analyze current warehouse operations and identify opportunities to improve productivity, throughput, and accuracy.
Develop and implement best practices for receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
Monitor operational KPIs and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
Configure, maintain, and optimize WMS rules and workflows.
Design and implement warehouse layouts that improve material flow, storage density, and labor efficiency.
Develop slotting strategies based on product velocity, order profiles, and inventory characteristics.
Analyze order fulfillment processes and productivity metrics.
Create dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to monitor warehouse effectiveness.
