Job summary

PlanIT Group is seeking a seasoned professional to design layouts for warehouse automation and optimize warehousing operations. You will plan sequences for receiving, packing, and preparing materials with automated solutions, exercising judgment to balance efficiency and cost.

The role requires 8+ years in automated end-to-end logistics, large-scale automation projects, and extensive SAP Warehouse Management experience. Occasional site coordination in Orlando is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering or business.
No less than 5 years' experience using SAP Warehouse Management Software.
8 years' experience automated end of line and logistical solutions.
8 years' experience in warehouse operations.
8 years' experience managing large scale automation projects.

Responsibilities

Designs and plans layout for warehouse automation and warehousing best practices.
Plans sequence of operations and procedures for receiving, decanting, packing, and preparing materials using automated solutions.
Tests and measures production stages to control material movement times, automation utilization, and payback.
Establishes processing requirements for designing and acquiring automated warehouse equipment.
