Job summary

Abacus Solutions Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a brand-new Southaven, MS warehouse with 1st and 2nd shifts. The role focuses on supervising daily replenishment, outbound and inventory tasks, ensuring safety and quality, and driving productivity in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a temporary-to-permanent path with an ASAP start and a compensation around $70K. Candidates should have a degree in a related field or equivalent managerial experience, plus strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, logistics, Business, Operations or related field or 2 years of demonstrated managerial experience leading teams.
• Prior experience in Warehousing, 3PL, Distribution or Manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong process improvement skills with demonstrated leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and WMS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities in accordance with SOPs and ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
• Contribute to development of CIA direct reports and manage shift activities.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, HazMat, DOT).
• Achieve production objectives and monitor department statistics and reporting.
• Provide training and assess skills, implement performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with other departments on fulfillment strategies and communicate shift directives.
