Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to provide leadership at a Groveport, OH warehousing site. You will oversee daily tasks, inventory control, cycle counting, and customer service while guiding staff toward Penske goals.

Responsibilities include supervising processes, scheduling, safety, and performance coaching. You will participate in hiring, attend customer meetings as needed, and ensure accurate records and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-4 years related functional experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Must demonstrate ownership and responsibility to run the operation with urgency.
• Ability to connect with associates and external customers at all levels.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and complete Penske employment process.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly workforce to execute daily tasks and meet customer requirements.
• Supervise inventory control, cycle counting, receiving accuracy and documentation.
• Schedule workforce and equipment, monitor attendance and productivity.
• Provide coaching, conduct safety observations and ensure compliance.
• Participate in hiring process and customer meetings as needed.
• Complete records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
