Job summary

The City of New York, Department of Finance, seeks an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor for the Administration and Planning Division. You will oversee warehouse and print shop activities, manage inventory, and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely deliveries across agency locations.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with hybrid work options available (up to 2 days remote per week) and a path to advancement within DOF.

Qualifications

• Six years of full-time warehousing experience with 18 months in managerial capacity.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable as described.
• Experience in logistics and scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delegate work assignments and assure completion by due date.
• Oversee warehouse inventory and designate designated areas.
• Verify inbound goods against receipts and documents.
• Coordinate with DOF contractors to meet monthly deliveries.
• Assist in distributing Parking/Moving/Criminal Court summonses.
• Support daily print shop operations and production supplies.
